The story of Amleto Missaglia is entirely Milanese and dates back to 1884, when his father Giuseppe opened a shop on Via Moneta to sell Marian figurines in plaster and ceramic vases.
1900
Amleto was born, the first of six children, who from the start took an active role in the family business during particularly difficult years for the country’s economy.
1940
At the end of World War II, Amleto decided to continue his father’s business, consolidating it and specializing in high-end hotel supplies.
1960
The need to offer a greater variety of products grew, and it was Annamaria, Amleto’s daughter, who developed retail sales, targeting Milanese bourgeois families.
1970
Amleto passed away, and Annamaria decided to leave the hotel sector to fully focus on home products, from tableware to decorative items.
1990
The company moved to Palazzo Marietti in Piazza San Sepolcro, and Annamaria’s expertise was passed on to her children, who continue the family tradition.
