Some cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of our Digital Platforms, and others are used for analytical purposes that help us provide personalized and tailored services and a better digital experience. We may also collect information about you from third parties, for example if your spouse contacts us on your behalf or if your acquaintances provide us with information about you to invite you to events that may be of interest to you.

Our Digital Platforms use analytics tools provided by third parties, including Google Analytics (provided by Google LLC) and Meta Pixel (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.), which allow us to understand how users interact with the Site, analyze its performance, and improve the user experience.
These tools may collect information such as IP address, device information, browser information, pages visited, duration of the visit, and other information relating to the use of the Site. Such data may be transmitted to and processed by the respective providers in accordance with their privacy policies.

3.3 Minimum age limit

- provide information to regulatory authorities when required by law, in particular to comply with our legal obligations regarding warranty, prevention and combating of fraud, money laundering, and terrorist financing.
5. Marketing communications (newsletters, invitations, etc.)
With your prior express consent (usually obtained by ticking a specific box on a form), you may receive information about offers, services, products, or events sent by Amleto Missaglia.
We rely on your consent to process the personal data you provide for this purpose. Therefore, if you no longer wish to receive such information, you may withdraw your consent at any time (see the section “What rights do you have regarding your personal data?” below).
We may ask you to confirm or update your marketing preferences if you request additional products and/or services from us in the future, or if there are changes in the law, regulations, or our business structure.
6. How long do we retain your personal data?
Your personal data are processed for the period necessary for the purposes for which they were collected, to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, and for the duration of any period necessary to establish, exercise, or defend any legal rights.
To determine the most appropriate retention periods for your personal data, we have taken into consideration, in particular, the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the reasons for which we collected them, the service you deserve and expect from us, together with the applicable legal requirements. For example:
- your data are retained for the duration of our business relationship and will be deleted upon request, but in any case, retained to comply with legal retention obligations;
- as regards cookies used on digital platforms: they are stored for a maximum of 13 months from the time they are installed on the device.
7. How we disclose and transfer your personal data
We may disclose your personal data only to the parties indicated below and for the following purposes:
- We disclose your personal data to Amleto Missaglia personnel who need access to your personal data and are authorized to process them for the above-mentioned purposes and who undertake to keep them confidential.
For the specific purpose of combating payment fraud, your personal data are communicated to Amleto Missaglia in order to process orders and combat fraud attempts related to online payment methods. As part of our legitimate interest in combating fraud in payment methods, Amleto Missaglia, as data controller, may transmit your financial information to an external service provider with a fraud detection tool in order to authenticate a payment. Such service provider has undertaken to maintain confidentiality.
- We may also disclose personal data to third-party providers acting on behalf of Amleto Missaglia with regard to IT development and support;
- hosting and conducting business and marketing studies and marketing campaigns;
- vverification of your data, authentication of payments, and execution of orders and payments, to third parties providing payment services (in particular, Worldline Group S.A., Worldline Merchant Services Italia S.p.A.);
- delivery services. These providers are bound by confidentiality and are not authorized to use personal data for other purposes. We also require them to use appropriate security measures to protect your personal data.
- We may also disclose or otherwise process your personal data, in accordance with applicable law, to defend our legitimate interests (for example, in civil or criminal legal proceedings). For example, we may disclose such personal data as necessary to identify, contact, or take legal action against a person or entity that may violate our Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use, or that may cause harm to or interfere with other users of our digital platforms.
As part of the activities described in this Privacy Policy, some of Amleto Missaglia’s service providers may process personal data on our behalf. These providers may include, by way of example, technology service providers, website performance analytics providers, and digital communication service providers.
Some of these providers may operate, directly or indirectly, outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”) or allow access to personal data from countries outside the EEA.
In such cases, Amleto Missaglia ensures that any transfer of personal data to third countries takes place in compliance with applicable data protection provisions and, in particular, Articles 44 et seq. of Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Such transfers take place on the basis of appropriate safeguards, which may include, as applicable, adequacy decisions adopted by the European Commission or the adoption of Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
Amleto Missaglia takes all reasonable measures to ensure that personal data are processed securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable regulations.
8. How your personal data are protected
All your personal data are strictly confidential and will be accessible, on a strictly need-to-know basis, to duly authorized personnel of Amleto Missaglia and third-party providers acting on our behalf with appropriate technical and organizational security safeguards.
We follow security procedures in storing and disclosing personal data in order to prevent unauthorized access by third parties and to avoid accidental loss of your data. We restrict access to your personal data only to those who have a genuine business need. Those who access your data will be subject to a duty of confidentiality towards Amleto Missaglia.
We also have procedures in place to deal with any suspected data security breach. We will notify you or any relevant regulatory authority where we are legally required to do so.
We also require the parties to whom we transfer your personal data to comply with the same procedures.
However, unfortunately, the transmission of information via the Internet is not completely secure.
Therefore, we cannot guarantee the security of personal data transmitted by you over the Internet. Any such transmission is at your own risk, and you acknowledge and accept that we will not be responsible for any unauthorized use, distribution, damage, or destruction of your information, except where we are required by law to accept such responsibility. 9. What rights do you have regarding your personal data?

The right of access: the right to obtain a copy of your personal data.

The right to restriction of processing: the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data, in certain circumstances, for example if you contest the accuracy of the data.

The right to object to processing: the right to object:
- at any time to the processing of your personal data for direct marketing (including profiling);
- in certain other situations, to the continued processing of your personal data, e.g. processing carried out for our legitimate interests.
Where the processing of your personal data is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. If your consent is withdrawn, this will not affect the processing of your personal data justified by other legal bases, such as the performance of your orders and the retention of order-related data as required by applicable law.
If you no longer wish to receive our marketing/promotional information, please note that you may withdraw your consent to direct marketing at any time directly via the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email we send you. In this case, we will promptly update our databases and take all reasonable steps to comply with your request as soon as possible, but we may continue to contact you where necessary in relation to any product or service you have requested.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority in the event of an alleged breach of the data protection rules applicable to you.

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you through a notice highlighting such changes at the beginning of this Privacy Policy and on the homepage of the website amletomissaglia.it.
